I have been working as a professional television editor since 1995. My career started in the fast turnaround world of short-form and I spent many years cutting promos for the likes of Cartoon Network, Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, VH1, Nickelodeon and MTV UK, Germany and Italia.
A move into long-form first took me into the world of comedy. I had the pleasure of working as VT editor for the iconic ‘Never Mind the Buzzcocks’ and ‘They Think It’s All Over’ and in 2004 a career highlight put me in the cutting room with Sacha Baron Cohen. I worked alongside Senior Editor, James Thomas on the Emmy winning ‘Ali G in da USAiii’ for HBO.
In 2005 I was an integral part of the edit team that re-formatted ‘MasterChef’ for the BBC. As format editor I have helped guide the show from daytime up to primetime and in 2008 I received a BAFTA nomination. In 2019 we made it into the Guinness Book of Records for creating the worlds most successful cooking show.
In my spare time I produce my own independent films but I am first and foremost an editor. I'm a proud member of the British Film Editors (BFE) and am deeply passionate about the craft of editing and feel blessed to have spent the last 30 years doing what I love.
